With Lapland Circle you will get to experience the arctic animals and learn about northern culture and history.
Are you ready to meet the wild animals that live nearby, but are too shy to be seen in public? Only a few individuals in the wildlife park hibernate. Many arctic animals, such as the polar bears, like winter the most of all seasons. They boast themselves in their thick winter furs, clearly visible against the white snow in the light hours of the day. The early twilight of the winter makes the wildlife park visit exciting. In the zoo, we will also visit Fazer chocolate shop, a loved and genuine Finnish brand. During the day we will enjoy the buffet lunch in the zoo’s restaurant.
After the zoo we come back to Rovaniemi to the Arktikum museum which is a science center and museum that lets you experience northern nature, culture, and history up close. Housing the University of Lapland’s Arctic Center and the Regional Museum of Lapland, we stimulate thought, encourage debate, and provide a deeper understanding of the Arctic.
