Arctic Ice Karting and Snowmobile Safari

Explore Lapland by Snowmobile
Follow your guide along snowy trails on a safari suited to beginners and experienced riders alike. Driving and safety instructions are provided before you set off. Two people share each snowmobile, with approximately 30 minutes of driving during the safari.
Winter equipment and return transfers from the Access Lapland office to the activity starting point are included.
The activities take place separately on the same day, with a break between them. This is not a full-day programme, and lunch is not included. Please check the timings for both activities when booking.

Duration and Schedule

Age and Height Requirements
Participants must be at least 10 years old and over 150 cm tall to drive an ice kart.
Children’s travel arrangements for the snowmobile safari depend on their age and height. Please contact us before booking to confirm the arrangements for your child.
The child rate applies only when travelling in a sledge during the snowmobile safari. Children travelling as snowmobile passengers are charged the adult rate.
Snowmobile Driving Requirements
Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 and hold a valid driving licence in category A1, T, A or B. Please bring your licence with you.
Driving under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances is prohibited.
Cold Weather
At temperatures of −20°C or below, we recommend rescheduling for a more comfortable experience. Children who are too young or too small to ride as snowmobile passengers cannot participate in these temperatures.
Both activities will be cancelled if the temperature falls below −30°C.
Health and Insurance
Personal travel insurance is recommended. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition that could affect your participation, please consult your doctor before booking.
Single Driving and Damage Liability
A single-driving supplement of €50 allows you to ride a snowmobile on your own.
Your liability for damage to the snowmobile is up to €980 per accident, per snowmobile. This can be reduced to €300 by purchasing a €30 liability waiver per driver, per safari.
Booking Information
Please arrive at the confirmed meeting point on time. Missing the meeting time or location means you cannot join the activity, and no refund will be issued.
If the minimum participant number is not reached, Access Lapland reserves the right to combine departure times.
Access Lapland reserves the right to change the price, programme, inclusions or duration due to weather conditions or unexpected circumstances.

Yes. Your booking includes ice karting and a snowmobile safari on the same day, with a break between the activities. Please check the timings for both when booking.
How much driving is included?
The snowmobile safari includes approximately 30 minutes of driving. Ice karting includes two driving sessions totalling 20–25 minutes.
Is this suitable for beginners?
Yes. You will receive driving and safety instructions before taking part, and a guide leads the snowmobile safari.
Can children join?
Participants must be at least 10 years old and over 150 cm tall for ice karting. Please contact us before booking to confirm children’s travel arrangements during the snowmobile safari.
