Privacy Policy

The register is used for e-shop reservations, payments and company’s e-marketing.

The register consists of personal names, addresses, countries, languages and telephone numbers.

The data comes from the clients once they reserve or pay travel services in the e-shop.

Data is not shared out from the company.

Data is registered in company’s database and is possible to reach trough passwords only, only the sales staff in the company has got the passwords.

Registered person has got a right to deny his personal data to be shared in the future for any purpose and get all information of the content of his personal data in company’s data base.

Registered person is allowed to check his personal data and in case of mistakes the company will make the changes needed.

4 REGISTER NAME

The name of the register is the customer register.

 

5 THE PURPOSE AND LEGALITY OF USING PERSONAL DATA INFORMATION

Customer data is collected for a specific, legal purpose in order to fulfil contractual obligations (passenger and accommodation information, invoicing, online shop), to fulfil legal obligation (passenger cards) and in addition, based on the legal right (marketing communication, informing & invitation only – events). Information is collected to the register from client and stakeholder sources. Customer data is collected according to this data protection leaflet, and will not be used, changed or transferred under any circumstances in different means than as explained in this leaflet.

 

6 CONTENT OF THE REGISTER

Register includes the client information of Sibi & Marketing Oy & Access Lapland Oy, which are name, address, phone number, email address, personal identification number, passport ID, special dietary requirements, credit card information, client group and other information related to customer care.

 

7 REGULATED SOURCES OF INFORMATION

Customer register’s information is collected from the personal registered and from their representatives (travel agencies & travel organizers).

 

8 REGULATED DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

Needed client information can be handed over to officials, accommodation providers, airline & cruise providers for legal purposes. Sibi & Marketing Oy and Access Lapland Oy hand in customer information as individual cases for the assigned party, if the concerned party request the company to act so, or, if based on legislation legal officer demands the company to hand in separately information from the database.

 

9 TRANSFERRING INFORMATION TO A THIRD COUNTRY OR FOR AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION

Client’s data will be transferred to accommodation providers and for airlines to Israel under circumstances where the client of Sibi & Marketing Oy is travelling to the country mentioned above. Other information will not be provided to the third country or to an international organization.

 

10 RIGHT TO LEGAL INSPECTION

The registered has the right to check, whether information regarding him/her has been saved to the register. In addition, after a specific request, he/she has the right to receive information regarding information related to him/her, Check request must be submitted written, signed to a register holder and attached with a copy of an identification card (with photo).

 

11 RIGHT TO DEMAND THE CORRECTION OF INFORMATION AND REMOVAL OF INFORMATION

The register holder must fix the incorrect information in the data register appointed by the stakeholder. Register holder also has the right to check formality and whether the information is up to date. The registered can also demand the register holder to delete information regarding themselves from the register. Privacy protection officer will lead the handling of this procedure.

 

12 OTHER RIGHTS REGARDING HANDLING OF CLIENT REGISTER

The registered has the right to demand limiting the usage of data information. The registered has also the right to retain information (in its general used form) regarding them, who he/she has delivered. In addition, the person has right to receive the information in a form that is readible via computer, and has the right to transfer the information to another register holder. Furthermore, the registered has the right to object handling of the information, automatic decision making and profiling.

 

13 DELETING THE INFORMATION AND KEEPING PERIOD

Sibi & Marketing Oy and Access Lapland Oy will remove from the register client’s information, once there is no business-based reason to keep it. The data will be used during the customer relationship is valid, and afterwards as long as taking care of insurances and misresponsabilities. Personal information in electrical will be destroyed in the form of breakthroughs, and information in paper form will be destroyed on case-based, once storing the information is no longer reasonably needed. However, the information won’t be deleted, if it’s legally appointed differently, or an officer has put on a process, which requires Sibi & Marketing Oy or Access Lapland Oy to store the information or a third party has applied for privacy security decision for the information.

 

14 ACCEPTING THE PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT

The data protection leaflet has been accepted as continuing and checked on 6th February 2021.
